The symposium will be held on Washington University’s Danforth Campus in College Hall, located on the South 40, and in the Danforth University Center located 6475 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, Missouri.
Accessibility: Getting Around Campus
The university strives to make its programs, services, and activities accessible to all persons. During the Symposium, shuttle service is provided by the hotel for free to transport participants from the hotel to WashU’s campus and back. For scheduling purposes, we recommend that participants review the Symposium Schedule for details on recommended pick-up/drop-off times for the Shuttle.
Breakfast on Friday and Saturday is covered in the cost of the hotel.
All meals during the Symposium will be provided by host site, with the exception of Friday night dinner.

Washington University’s Danforth Campus is centrally located in the St. Louis metropolitan area and is readily accessible from major highways.
Taxis are available at Lambert Airport. Two local cab companies are County Cab (314-991-5300) and Laclede Cab (314-652-3456). When you are arriving, ask the cab driver to take you to the Clocktower on the South 40 at Washington University.
To reach the Danforth Campus from Lambert St. Louis Airport:
- Board the light rail train headed toward the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station.
- Exit at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station and board the next train headed for Shrewsbury.
- Take this train either one or two stops to the Skinker station or the University City-Big Bend station.

Getting around St. Louis
The MetroLink and MetroBus are convenient and affordable means of getting to prime locations in St. Louis. The Skinker MetroLink Station is conveniently located on the Northeast corner of the Danforth Campus stop is located at the intersection of Forest Parkway and Skinker Boulevard (map of walk), where a quick walk and a few dollars can give you access to the rail all day. The Mallinckrodt Center Loop is located outside of the Danforth University Center and provides access to 2 MetroBus routes, that provide connections throughout St. Louis.
